A delightful project, creating a website for a beautiful retro-chic holiday home, recently modernised, offering quality furnishings in award-winning surroundings.
The brief was to produce a website that would showcase the strong images provided by the client and would also include a bespoke booking form and gallery.
Strong design themes
The design concepts created for the website complimented the decoration of the holiday home which had strong design themes, incorporating modern facilities with retro and vintage furnishings. We created a Moodboard which involved recognising key elements of the house and suggesting colours to base the website on – in this case the main colour was inspired by an anglepoise lamp provided by the client.
Fonts with character
We also looked at suitable fonts that would emphasise the character of the house whilst adding a modern element, and the logo was inspired by the original iron work used for the name sign of the house.
Collaborative design process
The Moodboard represents a key part of our website building process, by giving a client the opportunity to be part of the design stage. Ensuring regular communication throughout a website build helps us to produce a website that we can all be proud of.
