We have worked with the lovely folk at Bristol-based jewellery designer Splendette for a number of years.
After a process of collaborative brand development, we created a bright and vibrant website that fitted exactly with their mid-century style and “vintage style jewellery for modern day kittens”.
Over the last 5 years Splendette has grown from from part-time ‘hobby’ to full-time and growing business. And as business grew, so too did the Splendette eCommerce website. We worked together on an ongoing basis to continually improve efficiency and make shop management, order processing and fulfilment easier and more stream-lined.
As sales volume surged to new levels, the decision was taken to upgrade eCommerce platforms, from WooCommerce for WordPress over to Shopify. The migration was able to utilise many of Shopify’s more advanced features including time-saving measures such as:
- Downloadable invoices
- Downloadable packing notes with peel-off labels (no more hand writing labels!)
- Scanning tracking barcodes onto orders
- eCommerce wholesale sales
- POS mobile phone app for easy in-person sales at events and weekenders
The advanced configuration, customised theme and bespoke graphics – using vintage styles to match the vintage products – has resulted in an improved online experience for administration and end user alike.
Most recently we’ve been working with Splendette to integrate Shopify with a third party inventory management and order fulfilment service, as the business continues to flourish and grow.
