Covid-19 had varying effects on businesses – and garden centres were so noteworthy they often appeared on the news.
With lots of stock that wouldn’t last a closure, and with high-demand for gardening products, it wasn’t long before eCommerce was the logical solution.
Working with the Downham Garden Centre team remotely (even though their premises was but a 2 minute walk from our garden studio), we uploaded 100’s of products and pictures, and made the website ready to trade online within just a few weeks.
Configuration of payment options, delivery settings and much more – all done via Zoom and good old fashioned telephone calls.
The site is going from strength to strength, and is now undergoing further upgrades to allow UK wide postage of many lines.
