Google battens down the hatches of internet safety.
Once again, Google, and more specifically, Google Chrome, (the most popular browser in the world) are taking yet more steps to increase the security of websites and website traffic.
As Lingo blogged, back in April, it is important that you ‘Lock up your site’ so that visitors’ personal information is secure from hackers, and other ‘cyber-threats’. Now, additionally, your decision to go secure with ‘SSL’ (HTTPS, marked with a browser padlock) or not could now also affect your Search Engine Results Position (SERP) too.
